What is Strike Pro Microfibre?
Strike Pro Microfibre is BANG&STRIKE's own-label performance underwear range — designed in-house and available exclusively here. Built around an 85% polyamide, 15% elastane fabric that's silky soft, fast-drying and moisture-wicking, with a four-way stretch that moves freely with the body. Every piece features soft-touch flatlock seams, a scratch-free printed care label, and a 50mm STEALTH tone-on-tone jacquard waistband. It's designed for men who want performance construction without paying for a premium brand name.
What styles are available?
The range covers sport briefs, micro slip briefs, jockstraps, thongs, bodysuits and tanks. Each uses the same core polyamide fabric with style-specific construction: the jockstrap has 25mm robust back straps and a double-layer contoured pouch; the bodysuit is a clean pull-on construction with silicone branding at the back neck; the tanks are cut narrow across the back to define the shoulders.
What are the Strike Pro colours — Terra and Dune?
Terra is a warm earthy brown — rich and on-trend without being a statement colour. Dune is a sandy, skin-adjacent neutral sitting closer to a natural skin tone than most brands offer. Both are exclusive to BANG&STRIKE and designed to work as a considered alternative to the standard black and white palette. All three colours — Black, Terra and Dune — are exclusive to us.
Is Strike Pro Microfibre good for the gym?
Yes — it's purpose-built for it. The polyamide fabric wicks moisture away from the skin and dries rapidly during training. The flatlock seams eliminate chafe at any point of contact, and the four-way stretch means nothing restricts movement. The jockstrap specifically is built for athletic use — 25mm back straps provide solid support without digging in, and the double-layer contoured pouch keeps everything in place during any activity.
What is the Strike Pro bodysuit?
The Strike Pro Microfibre Bodysuit is a men's pull-on bodysuit in the same performance fabric as the rest of the range — no snap fastenings, clean pull-on construction, with discreet silicone branding at the back neck and flatlock seams throughout. Available in Black, Terra and Dune. Customers describe the fit as second skin — close to the body without compressing it. Works as standalone gymwear, as a base layer under a loose tank, or as a fashion piece.
How does it compare to cotton underwear?
Microfibre outperforms cotton in three specific situations: high activity and gym use (wicks and dries rapidly instead of absorbing), fit precision (holds its shape wash after wash without relaxing or shrinking) and occasions where a closer, more body-defining fit matters. Cotton is more breathable in everyday static situations and better for sensitive skin. Many customers use Core Cotton for daily wear and Strike Pro Microfibre for training or when fit is the priority.
How does the sizing compare to Calvin Klein?
Strike Pro Microfibre runs slightly smaller than Calvin Klein or similar close-fitting underwear, we suggest buying up a size for a similar fit — both brands use a performance-fit philosophy. As always, use the waist measurements on our size guide rather than relying purely on the size label.
How do I wash Strike Pro Microfibre?
Wash at 30°C or below on a gentle cycle — the polyamide fibre is fine and heat degrades it. Avoid tumble drying entirely; the heat permanently damages the fabric structure and reduces moisture-wicking performance. Air drying is quick given how lightweight the fabric is. Avoid fabric softener — it coats synthetic fibres and reduces breathability over time. Cared for correctly, Strike Pro Microfibre will maintain its shape and performance for two to three years of regular wear.
